First Home Appointment

A couple of weeks ago I had a first time client call for a personal appointment which was a huge deal for me since I've only worked festivals and recently, a ladies night out. I had her meet me at my house and she had previously sent me the design she wanted, a popular one that I've seen on Pinterest often, which helped me get an idea of how I wanted to approach it ahead of time. Overall I'm happy with how it turned out and I believe I did the original artist justice although I would modify some things if someone else asked for it in the future.

While I was waiting for the appointment I quickly did a mandala design that I also, surprise surprise, found on Pinterest. The finger details didn't come out so great but I was happy with the mandala and mini paisley detail and the stain ended up lasting for up to 1 week and a half so I was very happy. With this last customer I am down to my last cone so it looks like it's time to buy some more powder and whip up a new batch! I'm not sure I want to cut and roll my own cones again so I may look into buying some re-rolled ones from some artists I follow on Instagram. Until next time, have a great day!
